The transaction MD74 is necessary to check where VSF is higher than dependent requirements (real orders) in a certain time frame. Especially in the short-term VSF should not automatically create fixed production orders which leads to production without real orders. For pre-material purposes the VSF where needed for mid- and long-term.
- Select plant
- Select version 00 SCM
- Enter relevant key date, in other words until this date the report will show relevant materials with higher VSF than real orders
- Always tick create list
- First start Test mode for pre-check; only when you untick the VSF in above selected horizon being deleted

Result examples: For Material 300403 still VSF for 18.01. and 25.01. With 166 PCs. exist without real orders:

Here is the result in MD04, so if automatic creation from planned order (PldOrd or PLAUF) to production order (PrdOrd or FAUF) being set, production most likely occur without customer orders and stock will increase!
